Decaffeinated Coffee Beans (100g)

Decaffeinated coffee often comes at a higher price, but the water process is considered one of the best and most environmentally friendly methods available.

Pollard's decaffeinator, located in Mexico, utilizes the crystal-clear spring water from Pico de Orizaba, the highest mountain in Mexico. Initially, the green coffee beans are steamed to soften them. Next, they are washed in flavoured water that is saturated with soluble compounds, which extracts most of the caffeine while preserving the essential flavour chemicals. The water is then filtered through activated charcoal to remove impurities and is reused for the next batch. The result is a decaffeinated coffee that retains its authentic taste.
