Bamboo Toothbrush with Extra Soft Bristles (Violet or Natural Handle)

Updated for November 2024 with a new curved brush profile with high-low-filaments. for improved cleaning of interdental spaces.

Change the colour from the handle colour option, and add to the basket again if you would like more than one type.

Manufactured from 100% renewable raw materials, Hydrophil's Bamboo Toothbrushes are the first climate-neutral toothbrush in Europe. Together with ClimatePartner they support climate protection projects in India.

With extra soft bristles, this toothbrush is ideal for sensitive gums and ensures thorough cleansing of your teeth while also protecting your gums.

The handle is made from a variety of bamboo called Moso which is fast-growing and also has an antibacterial effect. During its two-year growth, Moso bamboo reaches a height of up to 20 metres. Artificial irrigation, pesticides or any other chemicals are not used while growing the bamboo or cultivating the land which is important for the health of the ground.

The bristles are made from castor oil, therefore plant-based making the whole toothbrush completely plastic-free. This is very rare even in bamboo toothbrushes as many still use plastic bristles that are harmful to the environment when the brush reaches the end of its use.

Also available with Medium and Soft bristles, and also in a Kids double pack with a Hippo or Otter design.

The bio-based bristles are obtained from castor oil which is derived from the plant Ricinus Communis, making them free of BPA and most importantly, petroleum which makes this a totally plastic-free product.

The colour on the end of the handle (which you can use at home so that each family member gets their own brush) is a solvent-free paint made by natural colour manufacturer AURO. Also available with a Blue Handle and Otter design so everybody knows which brush belongs to who.

Why Switch?
Switching to a plastic-free toothbrush is one of the simplest and most effective ways to reduce plastic consumption that harms our environment.
