Choc Affair is a family-run, independent chocolate manufacturer, voted by UK retailers as the ‘best chocolate brand’ for two years running in the Fine Food Digest’s magazine. But more importantly; they believe in creating products that give back to communities, globally and locally, to make a difference in the cocoa industry, and pride themselves on their ethics and three core values.
🇬🇧 Handmade in Britain
All their chocolate is hand produced in the UK in York, while their packaging is always sourced from other UK-based companies.
🌱 Caring for the environment
Their cacao is also responsibly sourced and grown sustainably to minimise the impact on the environment, paying a 5% premium per kilo of chocolate towards the reforestation of Colombian forests.
🙏 Respecting people and communities
They only work with independent farmers and cooperatives rather than big corporations, and always aim to have a positive impact on the world around them. They are also part of a project called ‘The Chocolate Dream’. This initiative aims to improve the lives of people who live in the rural cocoa-growing areas of Colombia.
